Holiday cheer is here at the AAHCMSJV Museum, just in time for Arthop Dec. 2

Updated: Dec 2, 2021

Rock around the Christmas tree with the African American Historical & Cultural Museum of the San Joaquin Valley (AAHCMSJV) for the Annual Xmas Tree Exhibit beginning December 2 through the end of 2021 at 1857 Fulton Street, Fresno, CA 93721 tonight, starting at 5:30 PM.

With the autumn season coming to a close, gather at the museum to admire a Christmas tree exhibit worth remembering. Organizations big and small, have come together to fill the museum with holiday cheer, showcasing the spirit of Black Excellence in Arts as this year's theme.

This year, the museum is featuring trees from organizations like the local Fresno chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Central Valley Black Nurses Association, The Links Incorporated, (Fresno Chapter), BWOPA, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity (Fresno Chapter), and the Fresno Chapter of Jack and Jill.

As we recover from the pandemic, this year the museum is excited to bring back the Xmas Tree Exhibit for all to enjoy - socially distanced, of course; mask are required for entry.

Now is the time to fully experience the winter season by viewing the Xmas Tree Exhibit, mingling with our Fresno family and friends, and voting on your favorite Xmas tree that represents Black Excellence.

For organizations interested in submitting a tree to the December 2 exhibit, the donation is $30.00 per organization and must follow the Black Excellence in Arts theme, showcasing historical Black figures in this category.
